The fallout continues surrounding the horrifying blue pas that is Aladdin.
James Cameron has filed a law suit against Disney for their inappropriate portrayal of actor Will Smith as Genie wearing blueface. In Disney’s latest live action movie adaptation, of their successful animated counterpart Aladdin, Will Smith is painted blue head to toe and even sports Na’vi-like pointed ears. A clear violation of Cameron’s trademark.
Of course So Right it Hurts was able to attain a copy of the law suit.
In the suit it claims a total disrespect to the looks, way of life and fan base of the Na’vi people. Even the way Will Smith’s characters hair is reminiscent of a Pandoran Na’vi.
Next thing you know the Genie character will be sporting bioluminescent facial markings and hucking spears at giant sexpedal panthers.
This is clearly a case of blueface at its worst and the film should be boycotted appropriately. Disney isn’t even trying to hide their references.
Don’t let blueface get out of control. Let your senators know!
